An editorial, immersive portfolio built around Fabio Visintin’s visual universe.
The problem
Fabio Visintin needed a digital space that could represent a broad, multidisciplinary career across illustration, comics, painting, publishing, and creative collaborations. The challenge was to organise a rich archive without turning it into a standard gallery, while keeping the artwork at the centre of the experience.
What we built
We designed and developed a portfolio with an editorial, minimal, and cinematic visual language. A clear content structure makes the work easy to explore, while visual pacing, typography, and transitions guide navigation without competing with the images.
How it went
A distinctive, maintainable portfolio that presents Fabio Visintin as an illustrator, graphic-novel author, and painter, showcasing a visual world shaped by cinema, music, and literature.
In short
Fabio Visintin’s new website turns a broad and layered body of work into a contemporary editorial experience. Rather than acting as an image container, the portfolio creates a path through artworks, projects, and visual references while respecting the narrative and cinematic character of his practice. The interface was designed to give the artwork room to breathe and make exploration feel immediate. Content hierarchy guides visitors through featured projects, the archive, and author information, while the CMS keeps the portfolio easy to update over time.

What we learned
We'd handle the CMS training differently: since Fabio is less comfortable with these tools, a more gradual, verified walkthrough would help make sure he can update content on his own.
